Urinary Cholestrole and Triglyceride
In healthy individuals, human urine contains only very small amounts of lipids like cholesterol and triglycerides; levels are typically under 10 mg/dL. High levels of urinary lipids, including triglycerides, can indicate an underlying medical condition such as chyluria (where lymphatic fluid, or chyle, is present in the urine) or can be a marker of nephrotic syndrome. Elevated urinary lipids are also linked to other health issues, including kidney injury and the formation of urinary stones.
