Creatinine Clearance Test, Urine 24H
A creatinine clearance (CrCl) test, which includes a 24-hour urine collection, measures kidney function by assessing how efficiently your kidneys filter creatinine, a waste product, from the blood into the urine. To perform the test, you must collect all urine over a 24-hour period and provide a blood sample at the same time. Lower-than-normal results indicate reduced kidney function and may point to kidney disease.
