Anti Cardiolipin Antibody IgM
An Anti-Cardiolipin Antibody IgM (ACL-IgM) test detects a specific type of antibody in your blood that can be linked to antiphospholipid syndrome (APS), a condition causing abnormal blood clotting, and some autoimmune disorders like systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). A positive result, indicating elevated levels of these IgM antibodies, can suggest APS or a related condition, and the test is performed by drawing a blood sample.
