Anti ds DNA

An anti-dsDNA test detects autoantibodies against double-stranded DNA (dsDNA), which are highly specific to Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), a chronic autoimmune disease. A positive test indicates the body's immune system is mistakenly attacking its own cells, which can lead to tissue damage in organs like the kidneys, joints, and skin.
